Technology That Finally Follows the Rules
Simon Says: Stay Connected. Stay Secure
(Simon also says relax)
What our motto actually means
Two pillars. Everything we do fits one or both.
Stay Connected. Networks that work. WiFi that reaches every corner. Internet that doesn’t go down at 3pm on a Friday. Phones, cameras, cabling, the network closet — the plumbing of your business, designed once and done right.
Stay Secure. Email that’s safe from impersonation. Networks that keep your customers’ phones away from your point of sale. Backups that actually restore. Practical security that protects what you’ve built without making you learn acronyms.
Who We Serve
We’ve built our practice around three industries where IT decisions hit hard, and where the gap between “the IT guy” and “a real technology partner” is the widest.
Restaurants, Bars, and Hospitality
The bartender can’t run a card because customer phones are starving the WiFi. The patio loses signal in summer. The kitchen display freezes during the dinner rush. We separate the networks that should be separated, design the WiFi for the way your space actually fills up, and keep your point-of-sale from sharing plumbing with eighty customer phones.
Warehousing and Manufacturing
The lathe is running Windows 7. The ERP just went down at 3pm Friday. The remote vendor has access to a system you forgot about. We walk your floor, map your devices, harden the network around your production systems, and make sure your IT support actually answers when you need it.
Professional Services
A wire-transfer email arrives that looks like your client’s instructions but isn’t. The shared drive is a maze nobody quite trusts. Compliance keeps moving the goalposts. We harden email against impersonation, get your document workflow under control, and protect what your firm’s reputation is built on: client confidentiality.
Also: Serious tech for serious homes
Structured Cabling, business-grade WiFi, cameras, AV, and access control for homeowners who need a real network.
Why Simon Says Systems
I’m Craig Simon. I’ve been doing this work for thirty-five years — answering support calls in the early 90s, working in cybersecurity since 2003 (long before it was a buzzword), on AWS since 2008 when the platform had four services on it. I started Simon Says Systems because the small and mid-sized businesses around Menifee deserve better than getting talked down to, oversold, or ghosted when something goes wrong.
